- This is my thrid attempt to post this question--hope it's the charm!
- DON'T LAUGH...please. At home I own an XT-clone (I'm writing this from a
- library public access terminal) and I was given an old--so old that they
- Motorola tech center no longer has a manual--Motorola Codex 2234 modem.
-
- I would like to try it, but need the dip switch settings, esp. the ones
- that achieve null parity. I may also need a site that still has old, old
- DOS modem software suitable for an XT, and a recommndation as to what I
- should downlowd (assuming I can find somebody to download for me) so that
- I can connect to my freenet via my XT and the Codex 2234. I know, I'll
- get lots of replies telling me to buy a new computer, but unless they are
- accompanied by donations, I'll have to make do with what I've got.
-
- Thanks in advance for your help.
